Fantasy Hero Mystara Campaign Events

• Set in Mirros, capital city of Karamekios (ruled by King Stephan).
• Anthony is introduced to General Tamian of the King's Guard.
• At the bar, we hear of Radu, the local mafia of Mirros.
• Anthony goes around town with two ensign's from the watch, a human named Clitus and an elf named Trajan.
• Go into the bad district of town ("The Nest"), where they meet the old friends Myla and Natasha, along with Natasha's new friend Justina. Anthony and the two ensigns hit on the three women.
• Natasha is distracted by a song by the bar's troubadour, a song about her old exploits.
• When walking the women home, the group hear a man being attacked. It is the troubadour from the bar. He is being beaten by two cloaked figures.
• The figures appear to be assassin's dressed in ritual skull masks, who were stabbing the troubadour to death. They finally branded him on the forehead. Several crossbowmen in the dark are covering them.
• The assassins escape though wounded, while one of the ensigns (Clitus) is gravely wounded by a crossbow bolt to the chest.
• At breakfast the next morning, Anthony meets two elves, Ambrose and Swain. They are not uniformed, but have some association with the guard.
• The ensign Clitus is recovering, but the bolt was barbed and poisoned. He reports that two of the attackers were found, having poisoned themselves since they were too wounded to escape effectively.
• Ambrose turns out to be Intelligence Commander, and goes with Anthony to meet Natasha, Myla, and Justina, who had come to the palace to meet Anthony.
• Ambrose then questions them. Natasha returns the dagger to him, which has the mark of the Black Eagle Barony -- formerly ruled by Von Hendricks. She reports that the troubadour said as he died that Von Hendricks wizard was still alive. Ambrose suggests that the troubadour was an agent of his sent to find Natasha.
• Sends the four on a trip to High Forge. Justina is officially being hired to guard a caravan. Natasha is officially being hired to bear a message to the gnomes at High Forge. Myla and Anthony are being sent to investigate.
