Many years ago, you were part of an experimental batch of commando battle droids, built for speed and agility with four arms. You were a good soldiers, and you prototypes were so successful that your model was used as the template for a powerful cyborg general. However, after the Empire defeated the Separatists, you were mothballed. Not because you failed, but because you didn't fit with the new order. You slept for ages, and were awakened by the eccentric sentry droid "99", who was scouting for resources for General Orlan in a supply base raid.
You were happy to fight for the Rebellion as well. Moreover, 99 worked with Rebel General Orlan, who even spoke of official recognition that droids could hold rank within his army. 99 was a dastardly clever bastard who tirelessly worked behind the scenes for his own advancement, but also those of all droids. You captured both Elon and Kat on raids, and worked with the healer Tess to upgrade them. Zia worked mostly with 99 on secret spy stuff, but they provided valuable backup on military operations. Upon arriving at Coruscant, 99 went ahead to check his contacts, but hasn't come back for 12 hours.
You are a fast repair droid. To humans, that makes you a support for their cars and ships. To droids, though, you are a healer, and you take your role as physician seriously. You respect your patient's consent and confidentiality, and talk with them carefully about enhancements they might want.
You were a personal droid of General Orlan before the Rebellion, and worked on his estate, peacefully maintaining various machines and people. During the Rebellion, you were almost overwhelmed by the carnage - so many droids were destroyed, and you had to choose which to repair. Despite his warlike nature, Batty tried hard to capture rather than kill enemy droids, which made you appreciate him. Still, you've seen enough war to last you a very long time.
You were originally a B1 battle droid, mass-produced just nine years ago by the Empire with dozens of your brothers, but now you're the only one of your batch still alive. You were slaughtered mercilessly, and were unpopular with both sides. Batty captured you in a rebel raid, though, and the sentry droid "99" suggested that you could be of use to the Rebellion. However, the biologicals didn't trust you, you were instead modified into a loader. Under the humans, you were used mainly for menial labor behind the scenes. It galled you, but 99 kept working to get you cleared for missions.
After the people in the base were wiped out, that changed. Without people to interfere, everything went more smoothly. 99 directed you in a series of attacks on Imperial supply lines, and you acted as backup to Batty, using as big a blaster as you could carry. Now that peace has broken out, you're not sure how things are going to work, which is probably why you're all here on Coruscant.
In body, you've got a similar form to a standard B-1 battle droid, but you've been reinforced to be a heavy loader, and can easily pick up a horse or motorcycle. You accept that you're not the brightest in the world, but you at least have a way with animals - which in your case means semi-intelligent machines. You helped modify several machines to jailbreak them, and they are your pets.
You are an entertainment droid, originally built with state-of-the-art holo-projectors and sound system to create engaging shows. You can project holograms into a two-meter cube, which are equivalent to hi-def video - unlikely to fool anyone close up, but could work at a distance or with distractions. You worked for years in the Empire, generally bored and ignored as a luxury item for rich nobles.
In the Rebellion, though, you found your calling as a spy. At an auction, you convinced a Rebel quartermaster of your usefulness by citing detailed information you had overheard from previous masters who never bothered to wipe your memory. After your Imperial directives were removed, you soon thoroughly confused the local Imperial comm network. Under the direction of General Orlan and the remarkably clever sentry droid "99", you soon developed dozens of false identities with which you made holo-calls through the Empire.
After the general was killed and the base was taken, though, things started to fall apart. You were fighting the Empire, raiding their supply lines, but it wasn't clear who you were fighting with or for. Without the General's contacts, you were getting lost in your own false identities. You have tried to hold things together, but secretly, you think that maybe the whole Republic is just going to fall apart and get worse after the war.
You were a top-of-the-line self-driving speeder, a transport for the rich and high-ranking. You got to travel throughout the Empire, hobnob with the best, and see the most elegant sights. You were as polite as the best protocol droid, and a careful and steady driver. Your passengers were well handled. Still, you never got to go where you really wanted, which was a disappointment.
Then the Rebellion happened, which was a dreadful mess, but the rebels were in the right, from what you hear. Batty captured you from an Imperial supply ship that was transporting you to a new owner, and you were recruited, forcefully, to help the Rebellion. For a while, you were stuck in a dreadfully stuffy underground base. The one who talked to you most was Batty's mentor 99, a sentry droid with some fascinating ideas. He got you interested in real missions, accomplishing important objectives. You realized that you had been sheltered in your high-class life, and wanted to do more to change things.
Batty is most vexing as a commander, though he is skillful, but 99 was the real brains of the operation. After the people in the base were wiped out, you helped them strike a series of attacks on Imperial supply. Quite thrilling, you felt. After coming back to Coruscant, though, 99 went out to make contact - and something went terribly wrong. Just now, you spotted him working with a patrol. He seemed bewildered, so you made and excuse and pulled him out of there at high speed back to the others.
You are an older model Mark IV Sentry droid, activated just a few hours ago here on Coruscant. You have some programmed knowledge, but every experience is new. It's exciting and fun! You were brought online by a technician named Pavil in the Sector 12 police station. He assigned you to Republic police patrol 0218, under the command of Sergeant Tilku. Your job is to watch out for looters in the chaos of the newly-formed republic, and to keep the peace by informing the sergeant of their presence. It seems like a simple enough task, and you can spot a lot more while you're looking for looters.
You've got a repulsorlift drive that lets you fly up to 8 meters off the ground a little faster than a human can run, and fall about any distance, and a wide array of sensors that let you watch like a hawk, and hear a whispered conversation across a football field.
Right now, you've been taken for a ride by a self-driving speeder named Cat, which is a very silly name. He seems to think there's something very important that you need to do.
