Thoughts on Web Programming
Since I worked in high-energy physics, I have had experience in web
programming probably longer than most. I made my first web
application in 1995 -- a web-based logging form for the NuTeV
experiment at Fermilab, done as a Perl CGI. Since then I have
also made numerous commercial web applications at Excite@Home
and Earthlink -- including wireless web applications server WML,
interactive TV applications, and web services.
