This is a general page of notes and links for the Call of
Cthulhu game, originally written by Sandy Petersen in 1981. Since
then it has been through many editions and partial editions.
-
The Ripper Campaign
- A long campaign using a variant of Call of Cthulhu, played
in Chicago, Illinois from 1996 to 1997. It was set in
London of the 1880's, with a mystical plot surrounding the Jack
the Ripper murders. The variant rules added tarot card hands
to the play, which were used similarly to Whimsy Cards.
-
Shadows in the Fog
- A new game design based in part on the Ripper campaign, which
uses tarot cards for its resolution. I playtested the alpha
version of the rules in July 2003.
-
The Golden Dawn
- This was a short campaign using Pagan Publishing's sourcebook,
The Golden Dawn, done as straight Call of Cthulhu and
adapting the scenarios in the books. I ran a campaign from
2006 - 2007.
-
Cthulhu Trials
- This was a series of unconnected adventures
2006 - 2007.
