FREE RPGs GONE MISSING
The following is a collection of notes about free RPGs which I have
heard about or which were formerly on the list, but which are no longer
available for some reason. There are a number of possible reasons,
including:
- The author deliberately removed them from circulation,
because of a new commercial version, legal difficulties, or
simply to rewrite a new free version.
- The posting website disappeared through neglect.
- The game was announced but never actually appeared.
I have a few games personally. However, unless I have permission from
the author (either through them explicitly giving redistribution
rights or personal communication), I cannot post them to the web. In
addition, I currently (since 2003) have limited disk space available
from my web hosting provider. Some of them may be accessible from the
Internet Archive.
