Middle Earth and science fiction settings, along with many
numerous sourcebooks. In early 200 they dropped the Middle Earth
line. In October 2000 they filed for bankruptcy
and began the steps towards dissolution. The cause was various
financial troubles including hassles from Tolkien Enterprises

the former ICE management with part of the management team from ICE
and its own senior representative. In addition, some of the former
employees were recruited, and ICE has since recruited new employees.
